The Board of Directors of AAGB would like to clarify the article entitled “Castlelake to buy planes from AirAsia” appearing on Page 8 of The Edge Financial Daily on 12 December 2018.

So far, the Company has received no less than thirteen (13) expressions of interest and also offers to purchase from prospective buyers in total including Castlelake, L.P., for our aircraft leasing unit and/ or a number of our remaining aircraft assets. However, the Company has not entered into any legally binding contract with any of the parties involving the sale of the leasing unit or a significant number of aircraft with values over and above the prescribed thresholds under the Main Market Listing Requirements of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad. The Company shall make the necessary announcement(s) as appropriate when there is a decision by the Board.
