AirAsia Berhad ("AirAsia" or the "Company"), wishes to clarify that the Company has not received any notification from Nomad Investment Partnership LP ("Nomad") or any other substantial party on the purchase of AirAsia shares as mentioned above. The last notification received from Nomad on changes in Substantial Shareholder's Interest was on 19th June, 2008 and was duly announced on 20th June, 2008 that Nomad holds 138,400,000 or 5.83% of the Company's enlarged share capital.
