AirAsia Berhad ("AirAsia" or "the Company") had on, 16 August 2007 announced the receipt of a notification from Dato' Kamarudin Bin Meranun ("Dato' Kamarudin"), Director and Group Deputy Chief Executive Officer of AirAsia, pursuant to Paragraph 14.08 (a) of the Listing Requirements of the Bursa Securities of his intention to deal in the shares of AirAsia during the Closed Period.

Further to the aforesaid announcement, AirAsia has today received a notification from Dato' Kamarudin pursuant to Paragraph 14.08 (c) of the Listing Requirements of Bursa Securities in respect of his dealings in the securities of the Company as stated below:-

(a) The acquisition of 1,000,000 Ordinary Shares of RM0.10 each representing 0.04 % of the total issued share capital of the Company on 20 August, 2007 at the price of RM1.809 per share ("Disposal").

Upon completion of the Disposal, the balance of number of shares held by Dato' Kamarudin is as follows:-
