The Board of Directors of AirAsia is pleased to announce that the Company had, on 26 June, 2007 incorporated a 99% owned subsidiary company known as Airspace Communications Sdn. Bhd. (Company Registration No. 778488-P) ("Airspace") with its registered office situated at 25-5, Block H, Jalan PJU 1/37, Dataran Prima, 47301 Petaling Jaya, Selangor Darul Ehsan.

The Directors of Airspace presently are Dato' Anthony Francis Fernandes, Dato' Kamarudin Bin Meranun and Ms. Lim Su Ching.

The issued and paid-up capital of Airspace is Ringgit Malaysia One Hundred (RM100.00) Only comprising 100 ordinary shares of RM1.00 each. For the purpose of incorporation, AirAsia subscribed to 99 ordinary shares and Ms. Lim Su Ching subscribed to 1 ordinary share. Ms. Lim Su Ching will be transferring the 1 share held by her to AirAsia, thus making the company a wholly-owned subsidiary of AirAsia.

The principal activity of Airspace is media owner with publishing division.
