AirAsia had on 25 April 2011 announced the receipt of a notification from Dato' Sri Dr. Anthony Francis Fernandes ("Dato' Sri Dr. Tony Fernandes"), Director and Group Chief Executive Officer of AirAsia, pursuant to Paragraph 14.08(a) of the MMLR of his intention to deal in the shares of AirAsia during closed period.

Further to the aforesaid announcement, AirAsia had on 25 May 2011 received a notification from Dato' Sri Dr. Tony Fernandes pursuant to Paragraph 14.08(d) of the MMLR in respect of his dealings in the securities of the Company on 24 May 2011 as stated below:-

(a) A disposal of 33,350,000 Ordinary Shares of RM0.10 each, equivalent to 1.2% of all issued securities of AirAsia, by Tune Air Sdn Bhd (“TASB”), which Dato’ Sri Dr. Tony Fernandes has deemed interest by virtue of Section 6A of the Companies Act, 1965 through a shareholding of more than 15% in TASB, to a domestic long term institutional investor (“Disposal”). The Disposal is to broaden the local long-term institutional investors base and increase their level of shareholdings in the Company by the same.

Upon completion of the Disposal, the balance of number of shares held by Dato' Sri Dr. Tony Fernandes is as follows:-

* inclusive of shares held by ECML Nominees (Tempatan) Sdn. Bhd., Mayban Nominees (Tempatan) Sdn. Bhd., HSBC Nominees (Tempatan) Sdn. Bhd. and Cimsec Nominees (Tempatan) Sdn. Bhd. for TASB.
