Further to the announcements dated 1 July 2014 , 18 July 2014 and 30 September 2015 in relation to AirAsia Berhad (“AirAsia” or “the Company”)’s joint venture in Japan called AirAsia Japan Co., Ltd (“AAJ”), the Company is pleased to announce that AAJ had on 6 October 2015 obtained an Air Operator’s Certificate (“AOC”) from the Japan Civil Aviation Bureau.

The AOC shall enable AAJ to operate aircraft in its fleet for commercial flights to international and domestic destinations.
