The Board of Directors of Airasia Berhad ("AirAsia") is pleased to announce the appointment of En. Rozman Bin Omar as the new Group Chief Financial Officer (“CFO”) of AirAsia with effect from 1st August, 2006. Prior to his new appointment, En. Rozman has served in various capacities in the AirAsia Group prior to his secondment as CFO of PT Indonesia AirAsia in 2004. He is a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants.
The new Group CFO will replace Y.M. Raja Azmi Bin Raja Razali who held the same position and has officially retired from the AirAsia Group. The Board wishes to put on record their sincere appreciation to Raja Azmi’s invaluable contributions and impeccable service throughout his tenure with the AirAsia Group.
