AirAsia Berhad ("AirAsia" or "the Company") wishes to inform that AA International Ltd, a subsidiary of AirAsia had incorporated a wholly owned subsidiary i.e. AA Capital Limited ("AACL") in Labuan. AACL was incorporated in FT Labuan on 9 June 2006 with an authorised capital of USD250,000 and the initial paid up capital is USD2, 500. The purpose of its incorporation is inter alia to provide management, support and consultancy services to subsidiaries and associated companies of AirAsia Berhad and to entities outside the group. The directors of AACL shall be Dato’ Anthony Francis Fernandes and Encik Kamarudin Meranun. None of the Directors of the Company has any interest, direct or indirect, in the proposed incorporation of AACL.
