The Board of AirAsia wishes to announce that AirAsia has on 21 March 2018 incorporated the following entities for the purposes of pursuing its digital transformation objectives:

1.       RedBeat Ventures Sdn Bhd;

2.       Travel360 Sdn Bhd;

3.       Santan Cafe Sdn Bhd; and

4.       Shop365 Sdn Bhd.

(collectively “the Subsidiaries”)

The issued share capital of all the Subsidiaries is RM2.00 each. The incorporation of the Subsidiaries is not expected to have any immediate effect on the issued and paid-up share capital or substantial shareholders’ shareholding in AirAsia.

The establishment of the Subsidiaries are also not subject to the approval of shareholders of the Company and any other regulatory authorities in Malaysia.
