Further to the announcement made on 4th August 2017, AirAsia would wish to announce that Asia Aviation Capital Ireland Limited, which was incorporated on 2nd August 2017 as a wholly-owned subsidiary of Asia Aviation Capital Pte Ltd, has on 31st August 2017 incorporated Clifden Aviation 1 Limited (“the Subsidiary”) for the purpose of aircraft ownership.

The issued share capital of the Subsidiary is EUR100. The Subsidiary is not expected to have any immediate effect on the issued and paid-up share capital or substantial shareholders’ shareholding in AirAsia.

The establishment of the Subsidiary is also not subject to the approval of shareholders of the Company and any other regulatory authorities in Malaysia.
