The Board of Directors of AirAsia wishes to inform that the Company has received a letter dated 14 February 2017 from one of its major shareholders, Tune Air Sdn. Bhd., nominating Messrs Ernst & Young ("EY") as the new statutory auditors of the Company in place of the retiring auditors, Messrs PricewaterhouseCoopers at the forthcoming Twenty Fourth Annual General Meeting ("24th AGM"), and to hold office until the conclusion of the next AGM of the Company, at a remuneration to be determined by the Directors ("Proposed Change of Auditors"). 

The Proposed Change of Auditors is subject to the shareholders' approval at the forthcoming 24th AGM of the Company to be convened on 25 May 2017. (Please refer to the announcement dated 27 April 2017, Reference No. GMA-25042017-00036).
