Further to our announcement on 16 March 2017 in relation to the proposed acquisition of one (1) unit of Bombardier BD-700-1A10 Global Express 9M-CJG from Caterhamjet Global Ltd (“CJG”), AirAsia wishes to announce that the Company had on 13 April 2017 incorporated a wholly-owned subsidiary company known as AirAsia Corporate Charter Sdn Bhd (Company No. 1226933-V) (“AACC”), a private limited company incorporated under the Malaysia Companies Act, 2016 with its registered office situated at B-13-15, Level 13, Menara Prima Tower B, Jalan PJU 1/39, Dataran Prima, 47301 Petaling Jaya, Selangor Darul Ehsan.

The objective of establishing AACC is to manage charter activities and as an asset holding company.

The principal activities of AACC are:-

1. To acquire and manage the Aircraft; and
2. To become a full-fledged charter and private unscheduled business jet operator.

The initial issued and paid-up share capital of AACC is RM2.00 represented by 2 ordinary shares and further capital will be raised accordingly to cater for its operational needs. The Directors of AACC presently are Ms. Aireen Omar and Mr. Tharumalingam A/L Kanagalingam.

The incorporation of AACC is not expected to have any immediate effect on the issued and paid-up share capital or substantial shareholders’ shareholdings of AirAsia.
