We refer to past announcements and the announcement dated 27 September 2016 in relation to the Proposed Shares Issuance (“Announcements”). Unless otherwise defined, all expressions used in this announcement shall carry the same meaning as defined in the said announcements. Pursuant to Paragraph 6.62(1) of the Main Market Listing Requirements of Bursa Securities, the Company is required to complete the Proposed Shares Issuance within six (6) months from the date the listing application was approved by Bursa Securities. Bursa Securities granted its approval for the Proposed Shares Issuance on 14 April 2016, which was announced on 15 April 2016. On behalf of the Board, CIMB and RHB wish to announce that an application to seek an extension of time for the implementation of the Proposed Shares Issuance have been submitted to Bursa Securities today.
