Pursuant to Paragraph 8.23(1)(iii) of the Main Market Listing Requirements of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad, the Company wishes to announce that it had provided financial assistance in the form of advances to its associate and subsidiary companies during the second quarter ended 30 June 2023 as follows: -

1. On 11 April 2023, a loan of RM 5,000,000 was provided to Ground Team Red Sdn Bhd (“GTR”) by the Company, through its wholly-owned subsidiary, AirAsia Berhad (“AAB”);
2. On 02 May 2023, 29 May 2023 and 13 June 2023, a total advances of USD 11,019,678 (equivalent to RM 51,561,073 based on the exchange rate of 4.679 as at 30 June 2023) was provided to AA Com Travel Philippines Inc. (“ACT PH”) by the Company;
3. On 04 April 2023, 11 April 2023, 25 April 2023, 03 May 2023, 25 May 2023, 06 June 2023, 09 June 2023 and 23 June 2023, a total advances of RM 2,017,000 was provided to AirAsia Ride Sdn Bhd (“AARIDE MY”) by the Company, through its subsidiary, AirAsia Com Travel Sdn Bhd (“ACT”);
4. On 27 June 2023, a total advances of USD 107 (equivalent to RM 499 based on the exchange rate of 4.679 as at 30 June 2023) was provided to AirAsia Com (Vietnam) Company Limited (“ACTVN”) by the Company, through its subsidiary, ACT;
5. On 28 June 2023, a total advances of USD 595,360 (equivalent to RM 2,785,691 based on the exchange rate of 4.679 as at 30 June 2023) was provided to Airasia Superapp (Thailand) Company Limited(Fka Velox Technology (Thailand) Company Limited) (“Velox”) by the Company, through its subsidiary, ACT;
6. On 18 April 2023,10 May 2023, 26 May 2023, 08 June 2023 and 26 June 2023, a total advances of RM 1,235,775 was provided to Ourfarm Asia Sdn Bhd (“OURFARM”) by the Company, through its subsidiary, ACT;
7. On 05 April 2023, 11 April 2023 and 19 April 2023, a total advances of USD 154,644 (equivalent to RM 723,578 based on the exchange rate of 4.679 as at 30 June 2023) was provided to Velox by the Company, through its subsidiary, Airasia Superapp Sdn Bhd (“ADS”);
8. On 12 April 2023 and 12 May 2023, a total advances of RM 100,000 was provided to Santan Kitchen Sdn Bhd (F.K.A Santan Cafe Sdn Bhd) (“STK”) by the Company, through its subsidiary, Santan Foods Sdn Bhd (“STF”);

(Collectively, referred to as “the Financial Assistance”).

The Financial Assistance provided was in the ordinary course of business and to facilitate the running of the operations and financial affairs of GTR, ACT PH, AARIDE MY, ACT VN, OURFARM, Velox, and STK.

The Financial Assistance provided does not have any material effect on the earnings per share, net assets per share and gearing of the Company and its subsidiaries.
