Pursuant to Paragraph 8.23(1)(iii) of the Main Market Listing Requirements of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad, the Company wishes to announce that it had provided financial assistance in the form of advances to its associate and subsidiary companies during the first quarter ended 31 March 2023 as follows: -

1. On 18 January 2023, a total advance of RM 8,979,334 was provided to Airasia Superapp Sdn Bhd (“ADS”) by the Company.

2. On 28 February 2023 and 28 March 2023,  a total advances of USD 259,975 (equivalent to RM 1,146,228 based on the exchange rate of 4.409 as at 31 March 2023) was provided to AA Com Travel Philippines Inc. (“ACT PH”) by the Company, through its subsidiary, ACT;

3. On 26 January 2023, 02 February 2023, 13 February 2023, 24 February 2023, 03 February 2023 and 29 February 2023, a total advances of RM 1,471,791 was provided to AirAsia Ride Sdn Bhd (“AARIDE MY”) by the Company, through its subsidiary, ACT;

4. On 22 February 2023 and 27 March 2023,, a total advances of USD 82,189 (equivalent to RM 362,370 based on the exchange rate of 4.409 as at 31 March 2023) was provided to AirAsia Ride Pte Ltd (“AARIDE SG”) by the Company, through its subsidiary, ACT;

5. On 30 January 2023 and 22 February 2023,, a total advances of USD 52,685 (equivalent to RM 232,287 based on the exchange rate of 4.409 as at 31 March 2023) was provided to AirAsia Superapp LLC Korea (“SUPERAPP KR”) by the Company, through its subsidiary, ACT;

6. On 10 January 2023,16 January 2023, 27 January 2023, 24 February 2023, 10 March 2023 and 29 March 2023, a total advances of  RM 9,931,565 was provided to Ourfarm Asia Sdn Bhd (“OURFARM”) by the Company, through its subsidiary, ACT;

7. On 05 January 2023, 25 January 2023 and 28 March 2023, a total advances of USD 291,188 (equivalent to RM 1,283,849 based on the exchange rate of 4.409 as at 31 March 2023) was provided to PT. AirAsia Superapp Indonesia (“SUPERAPP ID”) by the Company, through its subsidiary, ACT;

8. On 30 January 2023, 09 March 2023 and 29 March 2023, a total advances of USD 564,674 (equivalent to RM 2,489,647 based on the exchange rate of 4.409 as at 31 March 2023) was provided to ADS by the Company, through its subsidiary, AirAsia Com Travel Thailand Ltd (“ACT TH”);

9. On 19 January 2023, 30 January 2023, 09 March 2023 and 29 March 2023, an advance of USD 679,674 (equivalent to RM 2,996,682 based on the exchange rate of 4.409 as at 31 March 2023) was provided to Velox Technology (Thailand) Co Ltd (“Velox”) by the company, through its subsidiary, ADS;

(Collectively, referred to as “the Financial Assistance”).

The Financial Assistance provided was in the ordinary course of business and to facilitate the running of the operations and financial affairs of ADS, ACT PH, AARIDE MY, AARIDE SG, SUPERAPP KR, OURFARM, SUPERAPP ID and Velox.

The Financial Assistance provided does not have any material effect on the earnings per share, net assets per share and gearing of the Company and its subsidiaries.
